Today I had an appointment for a medical check-up. It’s routine, every six months. It is because I suffer from hypertension (blood pressure issues). I came to the clinic, and when I was in the triage room, they did a blood pressure test. It was high. So the nurse who attended to me asked me to keep relaxing, and the reading later went down. But, it was still at a hypertension level.
So when I entered the doctor’s room to consult, she told me all the blood test results. Sugar in the blood, and the liver and kidney are all good. Only, I need to monitor my uric acid and HDL, which are abnormal. So, she suggested to me to drink plenty of water, consume medicine on time and do exercises.
All these pieces of advice are normal, I mean the doctor usually tells people all these things. But, in simple advice, it contains a thousand messages that health is important. So before anything gets worse, it is better to control it. Prevention is better than medication.
