Previously, we knew that Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) would cease all its TV channels on the Astro platform, but the cooperation is back on track to make sure that RTM’s channels can be accessed via multiple platforms. Therefore, RTM will continue staying with Astro.

Meanwhile, audiences were shocked when RTM suddenly announced that their retro TV channel, known as TV6, shut down its operations effectively on 1st July 2026.
