I’m not sure how many of you are still subscribing to Astro TV service. I believe many people have left Astro and moved to streaming services for more convenience and cheaper fees. But still, some people stick to Astro such as the elderly as they don’t know how to use the modern gadgets for media streaming.

Astro, scheduled this 20th July, will launch Astro X3, a streaming service from them without a box and without installation.

Subscribers can simply apply online and don’t have to wait for the technician to come for a traditional installation. As long as you are connected to the internet, that’s good already.

Upon successful registration, subscribers can stream with a monthly fee of RM39.99.

But, those who register during the launch may still be tied to a contract. For freedom from contracts, please subscribe starting in December 2026.
