Hello guys. I’m sure a lot of you have already received the news on your own handheld device where the most used messaging service, WhatsApp, announced recently that they are now introducing usernames for their users.

The username is a new feature which will be implemented in the next few months ahead as a new step for privacy for every user.

The username will be displayed to represent the user while keeping the phone number private when chatting with a new user. So, the phone number will not be exposed.

For now, they just allow users to reserve their username before it becomes effective. Once it rolls out, the reserved username can be used.
